Experience
I was born and raised in Bogota city. I was able to begin learning English when I was still in secondary school. After I graduated I pursued a translation degree for English and Spanish from one of the local colleges in Colombia. I have traveled all over South America and Central America, picking up many different cultural and language traits and idiosyncrasies specific to the different countries. I am passionate about teaching and education and I try to bring that to my lessons. I have been working as a private tutor for two years and I am currently a High School Spanish teacher. Since I started teaching I had the opportunity to work with all ages and skill level students. I have faced different challenges that encouraged me to become a more active teacher to achieve my goal of making of classes a fun and more productive learning experience for everyone.

I am a very extrovert and active individual. I like to try new things and meet new people. I love outdoor sports like hiking and skiing. I did professional kayaking when I was a teenager, now I just try to be on shape. I enjoy flying gliders as well as power planes. I definitely like to have fun!
